Rubrik Unveils Point-Based Partner Program for Cybersecurity Solution

Rubrik, a global cybersecurity vendor, has launched a new partner program, the Rubrik Transform Partner Program, designed to reward and incentivize partners to deal with cyber threats. The program uses a point-scoring system and customizable incentive plans, with three tiers: Authorised Partner, Elite Partner, and Elite+ Partner.

The Authorised Partner tier is the entry-level tier and provides eligible partners with discounts for driving approved end-user opportunities that are registered through the Partner Portal. Additionally, these partners will receive quarterly sales incentives for uncovering net-new opportunities. The Elite Partner tier is the next level, and partners can achieve this status by demonstrating achievement against qualifying activities, accumulating a minimum threshold of points. Elite Partners are eligible for additional financial benefits, including rewards for uncovering and closing net-new opportunities to Rubrik.

The Elite+ Partner tier is the highest level and is reserved for Elite Partners who have achieved a high volume of bookings in the previous 12 months. This tier offers customized incentives and business development investments, allowing partners to expand their earning potential and offerings.

Rubrik's Australian partners include Canon Business Services ANZ, Centum Services, Data#3, Datacom, Katana1, Nexon, NTT, Secure Agility, Sekuro, Tecala Group, Venn IT, and WWT, with its software distributed in the region by Exclusive Networks and NextGen Group.

Tawna Perkins, Associate Vice President of Strategic Alliances at US-based cloud solutions provider CDI, commented on the new program, stating that it provides additional benefits to partners for helping customers enhance their data observability and bolster their cyber resilience. Similarly, Rob Maniscalco, Group Senior Technology Executive at US-based cloud provider Gotham Technology, noted that there are multiple avenues for rewards that are not just based on revenue, enabling partners of all sizes to reap the benefits and enable a more holistic approach to zero-trust data security for customers around the world.

The Rubrik Transform Partner Program has received positive feedback from its partners, who appreciate the incentives that go beyond revenue-based rewards. In October 2023, Rubrik appointed former Zscaler APJ channel chief Arun Dharmalingam as its new Vice President for APAC and EMEA Channels, Alliances, and GSIs. The move highlights the company's commitment to collaborating with and enabling its partner ecosystem, providing them with opportunities to expand their earning potential and offerings through the Rubrik Transform Partner Program.
